Volunteers registered with Istanbul & I get a certificate after 50 teaching hours.

Our Vision
An international learning community reaching children in need across many countries. Through a free, certified curriculum, children learn English and keep their Arabic alive, staying connected to their language and roots. Alongside them, a new generation of volunteers grows into confident teachers.

Anyone can volunteer with Hand in Hand Learning. No teaching experience is needed.
First, register with Istanbul & I. Then join the HiH Learning group and complete the orientation.
You teach for about 1 hour each week. Our team plans the schedule, but lesson times can change when needed.
No, the minimum time per session is 30 minutes, and the maximum is 60 minutes (1 hour).
Yes. Guests can teach too, but their teaching hours count toward the certificate only after they register with Istanbul & I.
We provide the materials you need for your lessons. Feel free to use your own materials too.
